Vendor Guide: Activity Templates

Updated over a week ago

ActivityTemplates are reusable, customizable forms that streamline how your channel partners submit Market Development Fund (MDF) requests. Instead of dealing with inconsistent or incomplete funding requests, you can create standardized templates that ensure partners provide all the information you need to make approval decisions quickly.

Activity templates are the options that appear in your Partner’s Relevize portal when they create a new activity request.

How Activity Templates Work

  • Simple to Complex: Use the form builder to create very simple specific to your MDF program requirements all the way up to custom logic and validation

  • File attachments Request file uploads & supporting docs as part of MDF request requirements

  • Contact us for bulk import: got a lot of forms from an old MDF platform? Contact [email protected] and we’ll bulk import them for you.

Template States

  • Draft: Only visible to you while you're building and refining

  • Published: Available to your partners for creating funding requests

Best Practices

  • Create Specific Templates: Consider separate templates for different activity types (trade shows, digital campaigns, training events)

  • Include Budget Guidelines: Help partners understand contribution expectations and spending categories

  • Require Supporting Files: Ask for event details, campaign plans, or vendor documentation as appropriate

  • Test Before Publishing: Create a draft template and walk through the partner experience before making it live

Getting Started

Navigate to the Activity Templates tab in your MDF dashboard to create your first template. Start simple with essential questions and expand based on the types of funding requests you most commonly approve.
