Introduction
You can upload a list of contacts or companies to create a more precise and effective target audience for your campaigns. This guide explains the file requirements, data fields, and upload best practices to ensure the highest match accuracy.
Uploading a Company List (Download company template)
Prepare your file:
Use this exact CSV file template here with one company per row.
Include at least one matching field for each row.
Check file requirements:
Recommended minimum: 1,000 companies
Best performance range: 10,000–300,000 companies
File size limit: 20 MB
Include key identifiers:
Include at least one of the following:Company name
Company website
Company email domain
LinkedIn page URL
Stock symbol
Tip: For best match results, include both the company name and website.
Optional targeting enhancement:
If your list is smaller than 1,000 companies, you can expand targeting using LinkedIn’s criteria such as industry or company size.

LinkedIn Processing Time
It takes LinkedIn 48 hours to process a new list before it can be used in a campaign. Please keep this in mind when thinking about your goal launch date.
