How to Request Funds from Your Partner (MDF & Co-Marketing)

This guide outlines the steps to request MDF funds from a partner using the Relevize platform for co-marketing activities.

1. Navigate to the MDF Tab 0:00

  • Open the Relevize platform.

  • Locate and click on the MDF tab in the left-hand corner.

2. Request Funds 0:15

  • Click on Request Funds.

  • Select your partner from the list.

3. Choose Activity Template 0:15

  • Choose an activity template from the list provided by your partner. Some partners have a single general activity request template while others have customized templates for specific activity types (i.e. Executive Dinner, Co-Sponsored Trade Show, Webinar, Golf Outing, etc).

4. Fill in Event Details 0:32

  • Enter the name of your event (e.g., Security Conference Chicago 2026).

  • Specify the amount of funds you are requesting from your partner.

5. Review Funding Details 0:47

  • Click on Next Step to review:

    • Amount requested from the partner.

    • Add your contribution to the event (if any)

6. Complete the Form 1:08

  • Fill out the required details. In the example from the video, the partner is requesting the following information about the activity which is a co-sponsored trade show:

    • Name of the trade show.

    • Start date and end date.

    • Location (e.g., Chicago).

    • Indicate the type of activation (e.g., co-sponsored booth).

    • State how leads will be captured (e.g., on an iPad).

    • Estimate the number of leads (e.g., 100 leads).

    • Project the expected pipeline value (e.g., $150,000).

    • Additional details as required by your partner.

7. Submit Request 1:46

  • When ready, click on Save and Send to Partner.

9. Save Edits as Draft 1:58

  • If not ready to submit, you can:

    • Save your changes as a draft.

    • Return to the draft later to edit.

Additional Notes

  • Ensure all information is accurate before submitting to avoid delays.

  • Check with your partner for any specific requirements or additional documentation needed.

  • Prepare all necessary information (event details, funding amounts, lead expectations) before starting the request process.

  • Use templates or previous requests as a reference to save time.
